Circle of Friends

“I’m kidnapping you for the day,” she giggled, and off we went. There were a few errands and a bit of shopping to do before the event, but for the most part, it was an afternoon of our simply catching up with one another. I rarely get to just hang and chit-chat with friends. It’s always about writing, interviewing, speaking or networking, so to be out with a friend for an hour or so is a welcome change of pace.

My kidnapper and friend Patricia Seaver McGivern is also an author and lecturer, as well as a hypnotist, specializing in past-life regressions. She was to host an event for a newfound friend and light worker, Alania, a messenger for the spirit realm, healer, and creative visionary. Once we arrived and readied for the evening, we sat and spoke some of how our circle of friends has been widening over the years. She in her practice has been meeting and making a connection with others for greater than fourteen years and my own spiritual adventure was now entering its seventh year. “Where does the time go,” she asked. “I don’t know, but I have had such an amazing time and met so many interesting people that I haven’t even noticed how fast it has passed.”

While much of our paths lie ahead, we also realize that our awareness of the quickness in years reminds us to occasionally stop and give thanks, for all that has come and gone in our lives. To give thanks for the many experiences and discoveries being made, but especially for all our newfound friends and countless acquaintances. We were sitting in gratitude when Alania arrived. She entered the room and as introductions were being made, she quickly realized who I was. Coincidentially, not, “I just found your blog last night and read your beautiful post, The Sacred Circle.” I lit up with delight as she went on to say how much she not only enjoyed the article, but also felt so connected by it. With a thankful hug, I knew I had made yet another friend, and once again, the circle widened by one more.

Soon after, everyone began arriving, as it was nearing the time to begin when still another friend of Patricia’s entered the room, Trudy Griswold. Trudy is the author of Angelspeake, a guidebook on how to talk to your angels that she wrote with her sister Barbara Mark. Before long we were chatting away about our work and how spirit must have brought us together, to meet yet another friend, and once again, the circle widened by one more.

One by one, the group grew and our circle of friends widened even more. One woman brought a friend, another came with her husband, another came with her daughter and soon the circle formed for an evening of sharing and divine messages. Alania guided us all to meet with our deceased loved ones, friends, guides and angels from the angelic realm. A bridge of love spanned two worlds, as each felt the presence of eternal spirits joining us, and once again, the circle widened by many more.

Remember, you are never alone in your journey here. Your spiritual family and friends are with you. Your deceased loved ones are with you. You need only remember the bonds of love formed here go with them there. Your spirit guides, teachers, and angels are with you. You need only know that they surround you still, and once again, your circle of friends widens by many more.

Please revisit with us here, as I introduce you to Patricia Seaver McGivern, Alania, Trudy Griswold, and countless other guests on Meet and Make a Connection, as our circle of friends happily continues to grow and grow.
