Joy, Joy, Joy!

In Honor of My Joy Guide

What joy have you created today? What joys have you yet to create or wish to create in your life? What joys will you come to experience because of the kindness of others? As I sit to speak to you from a place of great bliss and joy, I pray you too are finding that in life which brings a smile upon your face and fills your heart and soul with great joy.

Joy, joy, joy, we would all like to experience it, to feel it fully in our being, and to find it ever present in our lives, but what are we actually doing to help create it? What thoughts, words, or deeds are we doing to make it a part of our life? How much of our energy is wasted on negative thoughts instead of thinking of all the ways in which we might give cause to smile. How much of our time is spent speaking about all that is wrong in our world rather than spreading good news. How much of our actions give cause for some sorrow or pain when we could be bringing others and us great joy. Joy, joy, joy, we all want it, but how many of us are mindful to include it in our day-to-day thoughts, words, and deeds.

“But, my life sucks!” His words were barely distinguishable behind his hand, but he went on to share all that troubled him so. The loss of his job, mounting bills, and growing distance between him and his family was taking its toll; not from his abundance, but from his joy. His joy was running low and all he could do was to sit in sadness. He did not know how to make his life better. He did not know how to make it all right again. He did not know how to be happy or how to live his best life yet.

He wasn’t even waiting on his joy to return. He wasn’t even anticipating it. He had sunk so low in human emotions that he forgot about his vital connections – to his higher self, to others, and to that greater power and presence within. He forgot about the endless well of peace, love, and joy that was available to him. He need only tap into it to fill his life with joy again. To be able to rise from sadness and make the rest of his life even better than before. To be able to see the horizon as a much brighter one, he need only look to all that can be found within. To the presence within that loves, supports, and guides us in our life. To the power that inspires, uplifts, and fills us with great joy. To his own inherent gifts and creativity. To his innate abilities to make this life one of true rewards. To all that allows him to create a happier, healthier, and truly wealthier life or one that is even more abundant and fulfilling.

For all those who are sitting in bliss and joy, you know what it is that he must do. You know the power and presence within that enables us to live in true happiness and peace. You know that he need only remember that he is a co-creator of his life and our world. That he has control over his own thoughts and being. That he can reach out to his higher self, to others, and to that within that loves, guides, and uplifts. To that which helps us to see the way ahead more clearly. To that which reminds us of our abilities to make this life as only we can first believe and perceive of it to be. A life filled with countless opportunities and new ways of not only surviving, but thriving. A life that can indeed be filled with joy, joy, joy!

For all those who may be thinking these are but mere words upon a page, so how then can we help another who may be sitting in sadness and pain. What of the one who faces very real struggles in life, no job and too many bills to pay. What can we do to improve the lives of others, if not our own? We can do much. We can reach out to one another. Connect in right and meaningful ways. We can live more mindfully of all those around us. We can speak softer to one another. We can demonstrate random acts of kindness. Then remember our inherent gifts and creativity. Use our innate abilities. Find our passion and then use it to not only make another’s life better, but also to live our best life yet. Be the example by which to follow. Inspire others and make the words on a page come alive in our world. Be the best that we can be, as we are truly meant to be. Be there for others however and whenever we can. Meet and make a connection with that of our higher self, with others, and with a greater power and presence within or source of all your joy, joy, joy!

Be well and be happy everyone, as all is not lost to us; all is within us!

Request: If anyone has a great video or audio of the song “Joy, Joy, Joy, Down in My Heart” to share with us all, please leave a reply. Thanks!
