This page lists a number of books recommended or found helpful during my own journey towards greater personal development and spiritual growth. A few of which were given to me, some written by authors I have interviewed, and others that a wise and loving Spirit has thankfully lead me to. ~Trinda Latherow

- Charlie St. Cloud: A Novel by Ben Sherwood (Bantam, 2010). Also made into a film, both of which I highly recommend. Read the author’s interview and details on Amazon.
- Consciousness Beyond Life: The Science of the Near-Death Experience by Pim van Lommel, M.D. (HarperOne, 2010). As a cardiologist, Dr. Van Lommel was struck by the number of his patients who claimed to have had a near-death experience as a result of their heart attacks, conscious experiences when by all accounts the patient had died or when the brain ceased to function. - Walking Through Illusion (O Books, 2010) by Betsy Otter Thompson was gifted to me by Betsy. Also by Betsy is LoveParent (Ascension Publishing, 1991), an e-book that offers an approach to parenting that takes you from the moment the child’s spirit enters humanness, through the formative years, to the moment the child becomes independent. - Have a Little Faith: A True Story by Mitch Albom (Hyperion, 2009) begins with an unusual request from an eighty-two-year-old rabbi who asks Albom to deliver his eulogy and becomes so much more with the reminder that our faith is not what separates us, but rather what pulls us together. - You Can Make It! by Nancy Jean (Outskirts Press, Inc., Denver, CO, 2008). An inspirational and personal growth book of poems and musings by the Guiding Voice within Nancy Jean. - The Secret Doctrine, Volumes 1 and 2: The Synthesis of Science, Religion, and Philosophy (The Theosophical Publishing Co., Ltd., 1888) and Isis Unveiled (Theosophical Univ. Pr., 1999) by H. P. - The Power of Now: A guide to spiritual enlightenment (New World Library, 2004) by Eckhart Tolle is a necessity for the spiritual seeker’s library. Echkart Tolle is a spiritual teacher and an author who is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition.
