Images of spirit beings, orbs, and spirals of light have been captured on film for decades, but it is only in recent years that we are beginning to look at them from a new and more open-minded perspective. Below are just a few that cause us to wonder what else we may come to see once we look not through the camera lens, but through the mind’s eye.

Reportedly unedited this popular photograph above from a car crash appears to have the shape of a spirit being present. There have been numerous film captures of spirit beings since the early 1800s when the process of photography first became public. There is the notable ghost of the “Brown Lady from Raynham Hall” in England, those that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle defended as genuine through what was then known as “spirit photography,” and the millions of orbs and auras captured in photographs today that are believed by many to be part of our spirit’s energy. Real or not is for you to decide, but I can tell you from personal experience with manifestations of the like that such things are indeed possible, a few of which I include in my books Pieces of the Puzzle. For a camera lens can at times capture that which the naked eye cannot. Remember, as humans we see but only a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum we call light energy, and energy as we know can never be destroyed; it only transforms into something else. ~Trinda Latherow

Here is an interesting photograph that I found on the Internet while searching for spirals of light. In this photo, a woman stands in a cathedral with a surprising spiral of light. The photo has this accompanying statement: “Alice Boscoe made her ascension with 78 percent of her karma balanced. She is featured in the book, On Fire for God and is best remembered by a picture taken in a cathedral where you can clearly see an ascending spiral of light all around her.” Source: Summit Lighthouse

The first time that I heard of such things as spirals and columns of light was from Fletcher Johnston, a psychic medium and channel for Asar/Rasa. He had once shared that it was during the passing of his mother that three columns of light came down around her and then four left after her last breath. It would be several years later when another intuitive would speak of spirals of light in her visions, and eventually, I came to hear and read more about them.

The only picture I happen to take on Halloween 2010 was of a friend in her costume. What I didn’t expect was the little surprise that I found on the bottom of the photograph. Cropped here for you is a portion of the photograph with our dog’s tail and a spirit orb, as she happen to pass by me while taking the photo. It even looks like a smilely face on it! Is the orb beside her a “spirit entity” or as my husband would first believe to be a “dust particle,” and a mighty big one if it is, but you decide. My neice’s photo of their Christmas tree yielded a number of “spirit orbs?” Perhaps deceased loved ones and spiritual family had come to visit this year. After all it was the first Christmas with their newborn son.

Too many photographs with orbs to include here, but there was another photo with one strongly defined orb next to father and son while sitting on the couch together, indicating that the camera lens wasn’t just dusty. A Merry Christmas indeed.

Blessed once more with another heartfelt story from Guy and Jo-Anne about their son Billy, who passed in 2004. Guy writes, “Around 10 months after Billy died, I noticed some of our photos had white round circles in them. After some research, I found out that those white or sometimes other colors, are orbs or spirits of those who have died and are on the other side. They are family and friends that allow themselves to be on photos to let us know they are around. They give us signs like orbs, mist, lights streaking. Also in many other ways I am showing you a few. I hope you enjoy them.” The truly amazing photographs that are shared on their website and in their book include countless orbs and lights shaped like hearts!
