Conscious kids of all ages know that as human beings we sometimes make mistakes in life, but as more conscious or mindful beings we can also work toward freeing ourselves from the endless cycle of making them.

Konscious Kids Korner is a new section within Meet and Make a Connection that aims to empower kids of all ages to live happier, healthier, and more abundant or fulfilling lives. To recognize those human frailties, errors, and misjudgments or all that sooner or later causes us some sadness or regret. Those thoughts, words, or actions that we wish we could have or should have never released into the world. As we learn and grow to become more conscious beings, live more in spiritual foresight and practice right thoughts, words, and actions, our lives improve and the lives of all those we touch, knowingly or not.

Like an irretrievable virtual message, once we put our self or our thoughts and comments out there, good, bad or indifferent, it’s out there forever. Our wants and desires, our opinions and perspectives, our comments and reviews, even our judgments of others are forever flowing throughout the collective consciousness of humanity. What we think, say, and do is of vital importance. Now more than ever before, we must become more aware of our connection with one another, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

We must come to recognize that each of us is linked to one another in more ways than by blood or relation, by race or color, and by creed, origin, sexual orientation, economic, religious or political affiliation. We must come to know that each is an essential piece of the puzzle or critical part to the whole, for what affects the one, affects the many. Each of us has value and worth. Each of us is of importance to the rest. Each of us has the opportunity to not only change our self for the better, but also the world. For within each is the power to be better than we have ever believed or perceived of ourselves to be. Linked by a greater power, energy, or essence that is creation itself, each man, woman, and child is destined to learn of its true nature, its true value and worth, and its true connection to billions of others worldwide.

As more conscious human beings, we are sure to live more in peace, more in joy, and more in love than ever before. We are sure to rise above such human frailties as anger, hate, and fear. We are sure to be better than we ever thought we could have or should have. We are sure to be happier, healthier, and more fulfilled lives. Now is the time to live as if our higher selves were living. For when we do, we live without all that causes us some sadness or regret. We live more in peace, joy, and love. We live this life as we were meant to, as more conscious human beings.

Konscious Kids Korner will contain those childhood experiences that address some life lesson, large or small, and the importance to all that we think, say, or do. Growing up is not always easy or just, but the lessons we learn teach us much about others and us. While some of the stories may be insightful, silly, or sad, I hope a greater good comes from sharing them with you here. For it is when we make a more conscious connection with others that we begin to live our best life yet. We make fewer mistakes and free ourselves from the endless cycle of making them. We move from the uncertainty of our youth into spiritual maturity, and no matter our age, live as we were meant to.
