World famous survival evidence medium, author, speaker, and producer James Van Praagh was perhaps the most surprising of interviewees for my books Pieces of the Puzzle. Not knowing what to expect of meeting and making a connection with such a notable psychic, I anticipated our talk to be somewhat formal and cool. Not even close.
Much to my surprise and delight, James spoke with me as if we were old friends, so warm and inviting that I lost all sense of fear of interviewing him and simply had a great time chatting. We spoke of the supernatural, his career and personal goals as a medium, and even had a little fun joking about us both being in his words, “a little weird.” It was better that I could have hoped for, other than being for a longer period. I could have spent the entire day speaking with him of spiritual matters, and in a way we did.
A few hours later, we spent the afternoon at Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment or A.R.E. ® in Virginia Beach. He was there to speak that day, as I happily found my seat among hundreds of others. With no other calendar commitments for the day, James remained with us until early that evening. The day had become one of spirit messages, self-transcendence, and divine awareness. We heard from our loved ones, shared our experiences, and discovered our own innate abilities with both a meditation and one-on-one psychometry experiment, details of which I share in my books. You won’t believe the outcome of our attempt. It was a day I’ll never forget, great fun and enlightenment too; who would have thought.
