Mirror of Truth

Before we can truly see with wise and loving eyes, we must first look into the mirror of truth. That alone can be either a catalyst or deterrent to personal development and spiritual growth. Inspire or hold us from stepping upon a spiritual path. Speed or slow whatever progress we strive for along our way.

Yet to evolve in our  understanding of self and life, to spiritually mature, and to become who it is that we are meant to be or wiser and more loving beings, we must first be willing to look within the mirror of truth or to see ourselves as we really are at this moment in time and space. See what truly lies beneath that of any physical appearance. To all that which influences our thoughts, words, and deeds or to our current beliefs and understandings of our world and us.

For gazing into truth can reveal much. It can show us how much more we have yet to learn. It can show us whatever prejudices we may have and whatever areas still need our attention, but more importantly, it can show us who we can become. That any human appearance does not have to be a hindrance to personal development and spiritual growth. That before we can fully see with wise and loving eyes, we must be truthful with ourselves and never stop learning and growing in this life. Never stop evolving into who it is that we can be.

No matter how far along a spiritual path we may be, there is always more for us to discover. We need only be willing to learn new things. We need only continue to progress in our understanding of self and life, spiritually mature, and strive to become who it is that we are meant to be – wiser and more loving beings. We need only look into the mirror of truth to see what changes we still need to make in ourselves. For whenever we change the one, we change the whole, as we are but reflections of one another. I simply pray the vision before each grows more wise and loving, as we continue our journey towards even greater personal development and spiritual growth.
