The Way of the Toddler Hour

“‘The Way of the Toddler Hour’ with hosts (and sisters) Leta and Lori Hamilton is a show unlike any other parenting program you have ever heard. Here we celebrate parenthood as a spiritual path for a journey to inner peace. With thought provoking and spiritually compelling guests, each week we explore an aspect of how our children help us with the lessons we came here to learn, adding deeper meaning to our lives and relationships while giving you valuable gems to add to your unique parenting tool-kit.”

With only a few hours until my interview for Toginet.com radio and “The Way of the Toddler Hour,” I wondered what we would speak of. Would we speak of the many antics of children and would I mention even those from my own childhood, some of which are on Konscious Kids Korner? Would I speak of both the good and not so good experiences that helped shape the grownup of today?

Much can be said in an interview, but through a divine trust and surrender, I know all will go as it is meant to. My only hope is that the best of stories will be shared with listeners or with all the caregivers of children – mentors, siblings, grandparents, parents and wanna’ be parents that may be listening. For we learn and grow the most when once we meet and make a connection.

When we make a connection with others, we learn much about ourselves as well. We see the same human frailties, and we see the same potential for greatness. We see the child within the grownup, and at times, the grownup within the child. We see who we are at this particular moment in time and space, and who it is that we are truly meant to be. No matter our physical age, we see our spiritual maturity, and by all accounts, we still have much to learn.

For life is forever in motion, forever changing and evolving into what it is meant to be. We are forever growing and developing into who we can be. Into the person we long to be here and now. Into the greater spiritual being we envision ourselves to be. Into a being of light and love that lives in this world, that radiates that love out to every other living being on the planet. For we have within us a spark of the divine from whence we came. We need only remember who we truly are – children of a divine light and love, of a greater power and presence, source or spirit that is both loving and wise.

Be who it is that you are meant to be, not just for an hour or even a day, but for all the days of your life. Step upon a spiritual path forever more and you will surely grow up to be the ageless child of a divine light and love. Blessings to you along your way.
