Change of any kind can be unsettling or disruptive to us – physically, financially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, but transitions or the process of changing from one state of being or condition to another can be even more so. Transitions can be quick or long lasting. They can be peaceful or painful. They can be filled with joy or sorrow. Yes, I think transitions can be cause to feel much more anxious or uneasy than change itself.

Yet, moving through any transition or from what was to what will be can go much more smoothly and easily if we look at self or life from a much bigger or broader perspective. If we distance our self enough from the pain, fear, or drama to see more of all those pieces of the puzzle. If we see the larger picture that is of our world and us. If we can see if only something more of the who, why, what, or when. If we see the up and down, in and out, or near and far. If we see the transition as but another opportunity to learn and grow from all of our experiences, whether we perceive them as good, bad, or indifferent.

Whenever we are open to seeing both sides to a situation or both points of views, our relationships with others change. Whenever we are open to new experiences or new opportunities, our life changes. We need only remember that it is not the change itself that defines us, but how we move through transitions or the process of changing from one state of being or condition to another.

How you move through yours is completely up to you, of course, I but pray it goes as smoothly and easily as possible. That you find the journey from here to there to be a peaceful and enlightening one. That you remember more of who you really are and why you are here in human form – to experience through grace and gratitude for the gift of life itself.
